What is a Personal Account on Web of Science?

With a personal account on Web of Science, you can:

  • Save searches and set up email alerts

  • Be notified by e-mail whenever an article on your Citation Alerts list has been cited by a new article. 

  • Create and maintain custom journal lists that you frequently read

  • Access your EndNote Web library if you have one.

Set Up Your Web of Science Personal Account

Open Web of Science, click Sign In on the upper left, then click Register and fill out the form.

Then fill out the registration form.

Citation Alerts

You can create a Citation Alert to be notified by email whenever an article you are following is cited in another article.

Create Journal Lists

Follow new issues of your favorite journals.
